Bart Goplerud focuses its practice on representing clients in class action cases arising out of securities violations, antitrust, wage and hour, product liability, and violations of consumer statutes. Bart has represented investors in “secondary liability” class actions against entities involved in assisting in the perpetration of investment fraud, ranging from underwriters to law firms and other aiders and abettors. He is licensed to practice in Iowa state and federal courts and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
Bart earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 1982 and his law degree from Drake University in 1990. He is an adjunct professor of negotiations and pre-trial advocacy and mediation at Drake Law School.
