Leonard Steiner received his B.A. in Political Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1973. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1976 where he graduated in the top 15% of his class and was Editor of the Law Review.
He is admitted to practice in United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California as well as in the United States Court Of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits.
Mr. Steiner is currently a Partner in Steiner & Libo, a professional corporation specializing in general business litigation. He was founder and Executive Vice President of Brokernet, Inc., a corporation engaged in the business of establishing a private computerized real estate multiple listing service in New York City. From 1981 – 1986 he was a partner in the law firm of Steiner & Unterman and its successor, Gellerman, Steiner & Unterman (New York City), specializing in business litigation. From 1978 – 1981, he was a sole practitioner (New York City) specializing in business litigation. During 1977 and 1978, Mr. Steiner was an Associate in the law offices of Hendler & Murray (New York City), specializing in commercial insurance litigation. From 1976 – 1977, he participated in a special project for the United States Food & Drug Administration in Washington, DC.
Mr. Steiner has been a member of the New York Bar since 1977, California Bar since 1988 and PIABA since 1991. He is also kind to pets and fun on dates.
