Ms. Ringo is the Executive Director of Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association ("PIABA"), a non-profit Association whose members represent investors in disputes with the securities industry. Before joining PIABA, she was employed by Joseph C. Long, an Attorney and former Professor of Law at the University of Oklahoma specializing in State and Federal Securities Law. She served as the Admissions Director at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, and began her career at The University of Oklahoma College of Law where she worked as the Program Coordinator in the Continuing Legal Education Department. She is a Public Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
An advocate of public service, Ms. Ringo serves on the Investor Protection Institute (IPI) Board of Directors, an independent nonprofit organization that advances investor protection by conducting and supporting unbiased research and groundbreaking education programs. She served on The PIABA Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors from its founding in 2012 thru April 30, 2017. Ms. Ringo is a Sustaining Member of Assistance League of Norman (ALN); Member of Zeta Tau Alpha; and former Member of the Norman Chapter of American Cancer Society. She has served in a number of officer capacities including, Treasurer and Secretary for The PIABA Foundation, Inc.; President of the ZTA Gamma Upsilon House Association; Secretary, Bylaws, and Finance Chairwoman for ALN; and Treasurer for the Norman ACS Relay For Life. She is a former Member of the American Society of Association ExecutivesTM (ASAE).
Ms. Ringo received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. She is the recipient of the Zeta Tau Alpha Distinguished Service Award and University of Oklahoma Staff Distinguished Service Award. Robin resides in Norman, Oklahoma with her husband, Jim. They have two sons, Will and James.
